What Smart Screenshot does
When meeting-screen detection is enabled, I identify the meeting window and save screenshots when its visible content changes meaningfully. This reduces repeated captures of the same scene.
Screenshots are taken only while Listening is active and a capture target is available. They are stored in the meeting folder inside your local vault.
Configure it
Open Settings → Meeting → Smart screenshot.
- Meeting screen detection: detect the meeting screen and capture meaningful changes.
- Alert when meeting screen is hidden: show a private notification when I lose the target, such as after a browser-tab change or a Zoom screen-share transition.
These settings cannot be changed during an active Listening session. Stop Listening first.
Choose the right screen
Expand the floating Listening controls and check the current screen. If needed, choose another capture target. Screenshots pause when the selected window or tab is no longer visible and resume when it returns.
Screen data and AI
Local screenshots do not leave your Mac merely because they were captured. A screenshot can leave your Mac when you explicitly use it as context for Ask, a Meeting Skill, an Action Skill, sharing, or another external feature.
Review each Skill's enabled inputs and avoid including sensitive screen content that is not necessary for the result.
