What a Meeting Skill is

A Meeting Skill is a reusable prompt for meeting context. It can create meeting notes, action items, a follow-up email, customer feedback, a BANT breakdown, or another structured result you define.

Run a Skill on demand

  1. Open a meeting.
  2. Choose a Skill from the meeting's Skill controls.
  3. Review and configure the available options.
  4. Run the Skill.
  5. Review and edit the result before using or sharing it.

Run a Skill automatically

  1. Open Skills → Meeting.
  2. Open the Skill you want to automate.
  3. Turn on Automate if the Skill supports it.

The Skill runs after meeting processing completes. Automation sends the configured meeting context for AI processing without a separate per-meeting click, so enable it only when that standing behavior is appropriate for your meetings.

Export the result

Supported Skills can send results to one or more destinations:

  • Markdown copy: save a named Markdown result inside the meeting's vault folder.
  • Webhook: send the result to the URL you configured.
  • Legacy local folder: keep an additional Markdown copy for an existing workflow.

A webhook transmits the result to an external destination you control. Protect the URL, verify the receiving service, and do not enable it for content the destination should not receive.

Write a reliable prompt

State the purpose, required sections, priority rules, and output format. Tell the Skill what to do when information is missing instead of asking it to guess. Always review generated claims, decisions, owners, and dates before sending the result to other people.
